Mesekon is known as a specialist in process equipment fabrication for the technology industry. We fabricate process equipment for different industry sectors, carry out assembly and machining at our own facilities and actively develop the structure and fabricability of products.
Our special expertise is based on international standard-compliant welding work and a process that provides the customer with the required documentation and traceability. Our production facilities are located in Turku, Finland, but our customers operate globally. Half of our production is shipped directly abroad, and 95 per cent of it indirectly.
Our expertise is scalable between industries, from land to sea, from extreme heat to freezing cold, from underground to high in the sky. Our experience is as broad as the horizon. We have insight into the challenges of the offshore and marine industry and the special needs of the paper and pulp industry and cleantech environments. We are also familiar with the specific requirements of lifting and handling equipment as well as mining and excavation machinery.

Established in 1994, Mesekon is a Finnish mechanical engineering company and sparring partner for its customers. Our 151 procedure test approvals for welding and 22 materials qualified for welding highlight the fact that steel is our material and welding is our core competence.
Certified quality and occupational safety
We never cut corners when it comes to quality and occupational safety. Our operations are steered by the ISO 9001 quality management system and our welding process is ISO 3834-2‑certified. We comply with the ISO 45001 standard in OSH.
Verified process + competence = the desired end result
The foundation for our operations is a successful process: competent IWS-qualified project management, IWE welding coordination and skilled SFS-EN 9606-1 welders. Our welding procedures comply with the EN, ASME and NORSOK standards.

Two mechanical engineering icons join forces and begin a sizeable investment program
The parent company of Stairon Oy acquired another respected mechanical engineering company located in the same city through a business agreement signed on 28 June 2024. Mesekon Oy’s entire stock has transferred to Stairon Group. This major acquisition will expand the group’s range of services and increase special expertise in the company, allowing more efficient and broader services for existing and new customers.
